These images are concerned with architectural spaces and the impact a room can have on the viewer. These spaces are uncomfortable and create an atmosphere of tension. They are made to provoke sensations of fear and claustrophobia.

Although they appear to be real rooms within a real building they are not, the rooms don't actually lead anywhere. They are solitary spaces that exist in that moment. The images are stand-alone snapshots of a space that may exist or are imagined.
The traditional narrative of a building doesn't exist, doors open on to walls that are barriers, or just stretches of nothingness.
